Warren Kaeding was elected MLA for Melville-Saltcoats in the April 2016 provincial election.
Warren received his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Saskatchewan in 1985 and worked as a territory manager for Hoechst AG from 1986-1996. From 1986-2011, Warren was also owner/operator of Wagon Wheel Seed Corp.
Warren has served as the Executive Director for the Sask Farm Stewardship Association, Advisor to the Agriculture Development Fund, and Crop Inspector with Maxcor Ventures. In addition to his busy professional life, Warren is involved in his community as Chair of the local economic development board, elder in his local church, member of the Lions Club and an official with local minor hockey and baseball.
Warren's experience in agriculture, business, youth education and employment bring the right mix of experience and enthusiasm to the constituency.
On August 13, 2019, Warren Kaeding was appointed Minister Responsible for Rural and Remote Health, as well as the Minister Responsible for Seniors, a new cabinet responsibility that ensures Saskatchewan seniors have a dedicated voice at the cabinet table. Kaeding had previously served as Minister of Government Relations.
Prior to his time in Cabinet, Warren worked as a Legislative Secretary to the Minister of Agriculture (Irrigation Expansion), as well as a Legislative Secretary to the Minister responsible for SaskTel (Cellular Coverage and Internet Coverage).
Warren and his wife Carla have two adult sons.
