Spooky Family Fun at Government House's Annual "Bump In The Night!" Event
Government House is hosting its annual “Bump in the Night!” Halloween event on Tuesday, October 30 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm at 4607 Dewdney Avenue in Regina.
Ideal for your little critter, creature, ghoul or goblin, this free event features magic shows, scavenger hunts throughout the museum and Halloween-themed crafts.
“Bump in the Night! is a fun-filled family evening at one of Saskatchewan’s most historic sites,” Minister Responsible for the Provincial Capital Commission Ken Cheveldayoff said. “This has been a popular event for several years now, and is just one of the many great events and activities that Government House hosts throughout the year.”
Built in 1891, Government House was once the official residence of the Lieutenant Governor of the Northwest Territories. It now serves as the official office of the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan and a public museum.
It’s the perfect location for a family Halloween party, as it is rumoured to be home to several friendly spirits and apparitions. “Bump in the Night!” is just one of many programs and events that Government House offers.
