Provincial Court Judge Appointed In Regina
The Government of Saskatchewan is pleased to announce the appointment of Noah Evanchuk as a judge to the Provincial Court in Regina.
“Judge Evanchuk is an outstanding appointment to the bench,” Justice Minister and Attorney General Don Morgan said. “He has made valuable contributions to the legal community in Regina for the last 15 years. His knowledge and ability will certainly enhance the judicial system in our province.”
Judge Evanchuk received a law degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 2004. He began his career as a lawyer with Balfour Moss in Regina. Since 2007, he has focused on criminal law while practicing with his legal mentor and colleague Douglas R. Andrews, at Andrews Benko and Associates.
Community involvement has been a priority for Judge Evanchuk. He has served as a board member for the Regina YMCA and the Canadian Mental Health Association, Saskatchewan Section. He also serves as vice-chair of the Regina Branch of the Association of United Canadian Ukrainians.
