Nominations Open for Premier's Service Club Award
Nominations for the Premier’s Service Club Award will be accepted until Wednesday, November 15.
“Service clubs and their members are excellent examples of the Saskatchewan spirit,” Premier Brad Wall said. “The selflessness and commitment shown in the contributions of these clubs to improve the lives of others is something to celebrate. The Premier’s Service Club Award is one way to show our gratitude for the work they do.”
The award was created in 2013 to recognize service clubs and fraternal organizations that help improve Saskatchewan’s quality of life. Voluntary, non-profit service and fraternal clubs that perform charitable work by hands-on effort or raising money for other organizations are eligible. Up to four awards will be given annually.

The 2016 award recipients were Churchbridge Lions and Lionesses Club, Fillmore and District Lions Club, Fort Qu’Appelle Lions Club, Kinsmen Club of Saskatoon and Lions Clubs of Saskatchewan. Nominations received after November 15 will be held for consideration the following year.
