$4.6 Million for Regina Police Service Targeted Policing Initiatives

The Government of Saskatchewan is taking action to ensure the safety of Regina neighbourhoods and families by providing $4.6 million in Municipal Police Grants to the Regina Police Service (RPS).  This funding will support 39 RPS positions in 2015-16.

Next Phase of Safety Improvements Rolling Out on Highway 1 East of Regina

Highway crews today began improving pavement markings at several major intersections on Highway 1 east of Regina.  These improvements include repainting all lines and arrows where Highway 1 intersects with Highway 46, Highway 48, Great Plains Road, the Pilot Butte Access and Gravel Pit Road.

New Integrated Health Facility Opens in Maple Creek

Maple Creek today celebrated the grand opening of the Southwest Integrated Healthcare Facility, a new facility that is providing a range of health services all under one roof.  Health Minister Dustin Duncan, Rural and Remote Health Minister Greg Ottenbreit and Cypress Hills MLA Wayne Elhard joined health care workers, patients, families and residents at the celebration.
