Saskatchewan Companies Build Award-Winning Schools

To date, twenty-seven Saskatchewan companies are working on the province’s largest schools build in history.  Across five school divisions spanning Regina, Saskatoon, Martensville, and Warman, the $374 million construction project will see 18 new elementary schools open to students in September 2017.

Province Announces Incentive Program to Sell Agricultural Crown Land

Agriculture Minister Lyle Stewart today announced a new incentive program to encourage the sale of eligible occupied agricultural Crown land.  The program, which comes into effect immediately, offers purchase incentives on the sale of the land to current lease-holders.

Saskatchewan Providing Drug Coverage for Saskatoon Siblings

After additional review and consultation, the provincial government has made a decision to provide interim drug coverage for three Saskatoon siblings who have Morquio syndrome.  The province will cover the cost of Vimizim for these children for a period of one year to allow for an assessment of its effectiveness.
