Grand Opening Of The Livestock And Forage Centre of Excellence Near Clavet

Today, Agriculture Minister David Marit joined with representatives of the federal government, the University of Saskatchewan and the agriculture industry to celebrate the grand opening of the Livestock and Forage Centre of Excellence, a world class research and teaching facility funded in part by the federal-provincial Growing Forward 2 agreement.

Deputy Premier And Trade And Export Development Minister To Travel To Israel On Trade Mission

Deputy Premier Gordon Wyant and Trade and Export Development Minister Jeremy Harrison will conduct a week-long trade mission to Israel.  The mission includes stops in both Jerusalem and Tel Aviv where the Deputy Premier and Minister will meet with senior government officials, private industry and a number of Israeli academics and research organizations.

Today, Premier Scott Moe is welcoming Ontario Premier Doug Ford to Saskatchewan.  The two Premiers will meet in Saskatoon to discuss shared provincial interests including fighting the carbon tax, economic competitiveness, and the importance of the inter-provincial trading relationship between Saskatchewan and Ontario.
