Heritage Week Proclaimed in Saskatchewan

Heritage Week aims to raise awareness about Saskatchewan’s exciting past and historic resources. The Government of Saskatchewan has proclaimed February 14-20 Heritage Week in Saskatchewan. Initiated through a partnership between the Saskatchewan Heritage Foundation and Heritage Saskatchewan, Heritage Week plays an important role in sharing Saskatchewan’s story across the province.

Bridging to Tomorrow

The City of Saskatoon’s largest-ever bridge-building program is underway. Today, the City of Saskatoon, Government of Saskatchewan and Government of Canada marked the official launch of the North Commuter Parkway and new Traffic Bridge construction project.

Saskatchewan Physician Numbers Continue to Rise

Today, Health Minister Dustin Duncan confirmed that the number of new physicians in Saskatchewan continues to rise, with nearly 650 more doctors practising in the province since 2007. This represents a 40 per cent increase in overall physician numbers compared to 2007.

Employment Supports for People with Hearing Loss

Saskatchewan Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services (SDHHS) will receive $385,088 in funding from the Government of Saskatchewan to deliver its Vocational Counselling, Disabilities & Employment Supports program. Established in 2010, the program offers a range of services to both individuals and employers to assist people living with hearing loss.
