Douglas Taylor and Panamanian Investment Opportunity Target of FCAA Cease Trade Order
The Financial and Consumer Affairs Authority of Saskatchewan (FCAA) issued a temporary cease trade order on December 22, 2015, against Douglas Taylor. The order expires on January 6, 2016, and may be extended as necessary.
The order directs that all trading in securities by Taylor shall cease and that Taylor is prohibited from utilizing any exemptions otherwise available under Saskatchewan securities laws.
Taylor appears to be soliciting investors in Saskatchewan without registration, putting him in violation of provincial securities laws. Taylor may also be contacting residents of Alberta and Ontario. The investment offered appears to be related to land located in the Capira Valley area of Panama and securities in a Panamanian corporation.
Anyone who has information on, or who has been contacted by, Douglas Taylor is asked to contact the FCAA Securities Division at 306-787-5645.
