Colleen was first elected to the Saskatchewan legislature in the November 13, 2014 by-election for the constituency of Lloydminster.
She was re-elected in the 2016 provincial election.
Colleen Chairs the Standing Committee on Crowns and Central Agencies and serves as a member of the Crown Investments Corporation Committee.
Born and raised on a family farm east of Saskatoon, Colleen has called the Lloydminster riding home for the last 30 years.
She attended the College of Education at the University of Saskatchewan beginning in 1979 and has been active in education ever since. Colleen was a trustee of the Lloydminster Public School Division Board of Education for 20 years, serving as Board Chair for sixteen.
Colleen is very active in the Lloydminster community. Her involvement with the Kiwanis Club, Learning Council, In Motion, Young Life, School Community Councils, and many other volunteer opportunities has always put kids, families, and newcomers to the community first.
Colleen and her husband, Kim, have 1 daughter, Nevada, and 7 sons: Casey, Chester, Riley, Fraser, Percy, Duke, and Ace, a wonderful daughter-in-law, Jessica, and two beautiful granddaughters; Pearl and Belle. She enjoys spending time with her family and close friends at the lake or whenever the opportunity arises.
